The match ended with a draw. It was a great match since our team was fighting the defending champion. The last five minutes turn the table around after the visitor made the equalizer and this time I did watched the goal.

When I was a kid, I dreamt to be a successful football player too. Everyday, my routine was the same. Football was my life back then. From the streets, to the alley and to the field, me and my friend play everywhere we can. Smashed windows, car’s bumper and vases was just a side effects of our hobby.

Our story was just as the same with the video I watched. We played with slippers or just bare foot. Busted toes was nothing. We still kicked the pavement afterwards. Shoes was just too expensive. Bricks and stone was our goalposts and sometimes our slippers. On the field, we create our on woodwork for the goalpost.

Now, my routines has changed but my dream is still intact. When I came across the field we played, the woodwork was still there, just half of it though. It became an empty field now as new football and futsal field was made.

When I was 13 and whenever I met and old friend or a new one, they will always asked the same question afterwards, “what’s your number?”. A couple years later, the question sort of dissappeared. People live on the web now, more specifically, social networks. Back to the story, after the prayer he asked me “what’s your facebook?”. That is the questions I heard alot mainly after I finished my High Schools’ day. The problem is I do not have any Facebook account or any other social sites.

Most of the people who asked this question to me will eventually asked for my number. “You are one in a million”, he said, sort of.

Time was flowing slowly when you only sat on the couch everyday. I never neglected my health though. I kept myself always on top shape by exercise regularly. Futsal was my bestfriends and still is. Many of my friends was on roll for the national services and others was with their part time jobs. So, I would only have a chance playing futsal or go out when they have the day-off.

The best part of the time was how I can see the bonds between people can changed their character and attitude towards people surrounding them and the worst part was when my shoes was stolen. A pink/blue futsal shoes. I know, it’s a beauty. Being in high school was the best time a student can have. So much joy and expectation, I guessed.

Anyway, I still got atleast two months before I continue to a college or university. Luckily, at the moment I had plenty of plans to ensure my free time filled with much joy. Still, joy need plenty of work and money.

Without interest there would be no discipline and without discipline there would be no satisfaction. Being disciplined and dedicated to something you do is something that is hard for me to achieve. I would blame that on my wide range of interest though.

Hard work is something that people tends to forget.

Gonna by some new pens and sketchbook tomorrow, I hope so. Just to brush up the skills as people always said, practice makes perfect, which I believe there is no such things is perfect.

Just found out this blog and suddenly inspired to do ‘alot’ of drawings.
